Ouch. Rachel, I love some of your other classes, but for what one person's tale of woe is worth: to me, this was a study in discomfort and pain from beginning to end, even though I tried, modified and allowed myself to come out and rest when it simply felt absurd to keep on. Even poses I have been familiar with for two decades felt unmanageable. I feel this class requires either a level of flexibility and joint mobility, or a level of knowledge of our own limitations and sensations, that is way past "Intermediate I" level (honestly I DO have a little hard-earned bit of that knowledge; still, it wasn't enough in this case; I wonder if that may have to do with your visual example still somewhat registering as some sort of "normal"? Part of my brain taking note that something seems to feel easy and minimal for you, then finding out I would need a new skeleton for it to feel that way to me?). In other words: this class obviously does a lot of good to a lot of people; I wonder if they have physical abilities closer to yours than mine are? Whatever the reasons, I know I will have to turn elsewhere to negociate with my cranky hips after a lot of hiking – probably even later today, at least when my body has forgiven me this.

Nectar for the hips. I keep coming to this class over and over again. Thank you Rachel.

Yes, I found that tiny little thing (called love) in my left hip!
The longer stretches in the pigeon got right into the heart of it
