Prenatal Yoga for the Lower Back and Sciatica: The Neck
Pregnancy (and life, for that matter) can cause headaches, often associated with neck tension and tightness around the entire back and hips. Sarah-Jane helps you find relief with this slow-paced, gentle yoga class for the spine. Keep breathing deeply and encourage the body to relax into every yoga pose. This is an amazing class and I love Sarah Jane's calm energy. I'm at the end of my first trimester, am 43, and was nervous about returning to yoga- something I love. This class, and all of her others make me so happy and help me navigate the many feelings that come with being newly pregnant. I always bow smiling. Thank you!
I didn’t at all feel like this was a beginner class for pregnant people. I know I’m in the 3rd trimester, but I literally couldn’t do anything but the cat position in the initial cat-cow and turned it off before I got 5 minutes in. Even trying to get that far actually retightened my back that I just before this class been able loosen up. Very disappointing.
Sarah, this video was so helpful I feel a relieve, thank you so much Im 26 weeks pregnant, my neck and lower back start hurts. All the positions were easy to follow and do without discomfort.
Sarah jane steele was lovely, so nice to find a really calm non competitive, selfless yoga instructor, this is a really loving, thoughtful, understanding, gentle class, I am 20 weeks pregnant and needed to really calm down, this class was perfect for my non existent neck, highlighted a sternicleidomastoid issue which could be the cause of headaches and also helped my bump settle, breathing was perfect, made me really nice and relaxed had a bit of a cry, but felt very grounded for my bump to feel.like I was in control again. Good for tired pregnant Mums toddler to look after.
