Rising Phoenix
Rise from the ashes to reclaim your confidence and resilience. In this class, Andrea breaks down the necessary elements to rise up into bird of paradise: inner thigh opener, internal shoulder rotation, core strength, and transitional balancing. Note: A strap is optional for this practice. As well as a blanket or block for knee support.
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 10 of Cultivate Your Inner Teacher 14-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

Thank you for this class! I was never able to achieve this pose, but today I followed you so carefully and finally succeeded. It is such a wonder and a treat to work through these classes with you all at DYWM and work through our fears and doubts to reach goals I, for one, never thought I would attain. It was great to have you kick my butt again Andrea. Everything I expected from an Andrea practice. I am still a bit awful at balance poses but working on them through the lockdown.
