Rising Phoenix
Rise from the ashes to reclaim your confidence and resilience. In this class, Andrea breaks down the necessary elements to rise up into bird of paradise: inner thigh opener, internal shoulder rotation, core strength, and transitional balancing. Note: A strap is optional for this practice. As well as a blanket or block for knee support.
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 10 of Cultivate Your Inner Teacher 14-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

Thank You so much Andrea! My hips feels reborn :))
Wow! There were shoulder stretches in here that I never knew I needed. Lots of great attention to internal rotation of the shoulders before binding. And I was amazed how effective opening side to side from the forearms was at opening my tight shoulders. I craved slightly longer holds when arriving on Warrior 2, but overall amazing class! :)
Thank you, Andrea. I thoroughly enjoyed all the movement and expansion we did before the peak pose. This is a great practice beyond learning bird of paradise. I appreciated how you opened our shoulders and talked about the inner rotation. Really helpful and my body feels good.
GRATEFUL with sweet Andrea. Your instructions are so clear that I was able to do almost everything, need to work on my flexibility to extend fully my legs while stand in the Bird of paradise. I really enjoy your classes. Thank you DYWM
