Rising Phoenix
Rise from the ashes to reclaim your confidence and resilience. In this class, Andrea breaks down the necessary elements to rise up into bird of paradise: inner thigh opener, internal shoulder rotation, core strength, and transitional balancing. Note: A strap is optional for this practice. As well as a blanket or block for knee support.
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 10 of Cultivate Your Inner Teacher 14-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

I've been doing yoga for a long time, and I think these are the best cues for bird of paradise I've ever experienced! Really loved this class. Also, the playlist was especially excellent for this one.
This is such a creative, purposeful, fun class. Strap was a must-have for me, and my shoulders and hips loved all the rotations. I appreciate this 2-week challenge for encouraging me to take a full class every day this week - usually, I would convince myself I didn't have time!

My shoulders and hips are so grateful to Andrea for this wonderful class! The pacing and cues were perfect too, this was so enjoyable. I did this as Day 10 of the December 2020 challenge and it was also day 1 of a 14-day quarantine, I will definitely be coming back to this one to release all the stiffness! Really enjoyed it and will definitely be doing more of Andrea's classes. Thank you!
