This satisfying hatha yoga class with Melissa combines two great movements for your spine - side stretching and twists. You’ll feel so good (and tall!) after this class. It’s especially great for those that spend a lot of time on the computer and/or sit for long periods of time.

This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 10 of Grounding and Strength 14-Day Beginner Yoga Challenge.

I've had a really sore lower back the past couple of days so have done a few classes on here to try and help. This one was fantastic. I love how Melissa offers different options and levels to suit, and love love love how she got us into reclined twist, starting on your side then opening up the shoulder, as opposed to starting on your back and dropping your legs to the side. I've never done it this way before but it definitely felt safer for my back doing it this way. Wonderful stretchy, relaxing class and Melissa has a lovely way of leading the class. Felt great after this.
