I just wanted to write to say and that I really, really appreciate your grand endeavor! Your website has the perfect amount of variety for me, and I love your selection of teachers, teaching styles, and most especially the clear instruction that can be followed with the eyes or the ears alone. I practice in a very small space - only a foot or so of clearance around the sides of my mat, and I have to have the computer alongside the mat, so I cannot look directly at it most of the time. The way you and the other instructors teach - I hardly need to look, but when I do I appreciate the beautiful settings you film in. It's funny though - all those gorgeous outdoor locations inspired me to do yoga in the woods last time I went camping, and I have to say, British Columbia must have a LOT fewer bugs and mosquitoes than Michigan! Or else you and your instructors are so centered and focused that you do not notice them lol. Anyway, your website has allowed me to increase my practice to five or six times a week, and the fact that I can approach the practices knowing the intensity I will experience and counting on the consistent quality of instruction really helps me tailor my practice to what I need on any particular day. I'll stop gushing now, but really I want you to know how much quality your endeavor has added to my life. Best Wishes,

I am sure you get tons of these messages but I just wanted to say thank you. I just came back from making a donation but that did not feel enough so I wanted to express my gratitude with words too. I haven't been able to get away and do yoga since my little one was born a year ago. I was never a dedicated student with multiple practices a week but tried to catch a weekly class. Over the last year I have noticed my body get increasingly tight and stiff, and my carpal tunnel worsen, although it should have been getting better since I am no longer working at a desk daily.... I stumbled upon your hamstring and hip classes on YouTube and have been hooked for the last month. Three times a week, instead of complaining that my baby wakes up at 5:30 AM, I can do a class and slowly wake up, starting the day on such a positive note. The other day he slept in and I regretted having missed my class time lol!! Thank you so much for this service. It's so great for those who can't get to a class, or who don't think it would be worth the expense and hassle to arrange attending one (because they would not be strong enough to go through a whole class, or they can't get enough consecutive free time to do so, or whatever reason). Namaste.
Dear Do Yoga With Me and all the wonderful instructors: I want to thank you for your wonderful website, your generosity, and all that you do to improve the health and well-being of others. I have been tuning into your website this year and have enjoyed many hours of quality yoga practice. I am a Registered Midwife in Canada. Every week I have women coming into my office needing the help that yoga can provide - but so many of these women have barriers to access, e.g. no money, no childcare to attend classes, no transportation, no family support and long work hours, just to name a few. So for me it is easy, I just reach into my desk, pull out a card and write out your website address for them. Your gift is well-received and I see so many positive benefits - improved flexibility, less discomfort of pregnancy, higher self-esteem, better focus in labor and I think better outcomes overall. So thank you for making it possible for everyone to access yoga. Warm regards,
Hey guys! just wanted to say thank you for creating and maintaining this amazing website. Good quality videos, audio and good teachers! It's a very noble choice giving all of this almost for free! I'll definitely donate and support! Cheers from Denmark!
I just wanted to write a small note to say "thank you" for providing me with such lovely, informed, creative yoga instruction as is available on Do Yoga With Me. I have taken yoga for years and with many, many teachers - and I rarely gel so well with them, at least, in comparison to your teachers on this site. Specifically, I adore Ron Stewart - but everyone is just wonderful. Thank you very very much.
My name is Laura Whang and I am from Los Angeles, CA. I moved to South Korea with my husband a year ago and have found it difficult to adjust. Everything is different and even if I found a yoga or workout class it is all in Korean. I found your website about three months ago and have been practicing yoga four times a week since then. It has truly changed my life. I had dabbled with yoga in LA a few times but never really incorporated it into my life. Because of your website and, in particular, Fiji McAlpine's yoga classes, it has made me both physically and mentally strong. I can deal with life in a different culture much better than I could a few months ago and want you to know how truly grateful I am to you. It can be very isolating living in a country that doesn't speak the language I know and yoga has truly been a blessing. I am still learning and am quite new at the game but I hope someday I can share my joy with others. Again, thank you very much for this website and yoga.
I am new to yoga and my yoga instructor, Kastania, recommended your site to me. I am so very grateful to her and to you. I love "Do Yoga With Me"! I subscribed monthly because I want to keep it going. Then I ordered the 6 week beginner class, (Kastania left to go to Denmark!) as I wanted to continue to do yoga in an organized manner. And I found that this is a WONDERFUL program. I am on week 3, and the classes are just long enough for me and the quick tutorials are extremely helpful. I find I enjoy the lessons you teach very much. And today's lesson with Melissa (leg strength) was so good I had to email and let you know how valuable these lessons, and the other classes on "Do Yoga With Me" are. (I like Nicky Jones too! And the beginning pilates ones.) So please, keep up your wonderful work. Warm regards & many thanks,
I don't usually write reviews or leave feedback of any kind, but your site and all the videos have helped me so much that I felt it was necessary to say something. I'm a full-time student who can't work due to various reasons; without your site, I wouldn't be able to practice yoga because I wouldn't be able to afford it. Practicing yoga not only helps me maintain a pain-free status with my scoliosis, but it also does so much more for me in the ways of physical and mental health. Thank you for providing these videos free of charge. Your site has an immense positive impact on me and I'm sure on many others.
Dear David. I just had to send you a note to deliver to you and all the teachers at doyogawithme.com a deeply heart-felt THANK YOU!!! I am just getting back into yoga from a long time not practicing (11 years) and I am so grateful for this site and programs...they are changing my life. I am whizzing through the beginner to intermediate program and nearly ready to begin the MMA program. What you are doing is extremely beautiful and the true meaning of giving. I am in a financially 'tight' situation at present, but will send my donation when I have it available. Once again, thank you for this programming, the wonderful instruction/instructors and the donation concept. it was much needed and is so much appreciated. Sincerely, with Light and Love.
Hello David and the rest of Do Yoga With Me Team. Just sending a message of gratitude to you and your team for creating an affordable option for the rest of us who choose not to do studio memberships. I have joined many studio memberships for many years in the San Francisco Bay Area previously and was not able to cultivate the kind of introspective practice that I was yearning to achieve, and as a Traditional Chinese Medicine student, cultivating introspection, careful breath work, while engaging the body in challenging asanas are personally important to me. Having your videos accessible at any time, anywhere, I can have the type of practice that is appropriate for my mind and body at any given situation, especially after a physically and mentally taxing day of classes and clinic shifts working with challenging patients. Your videos also support and supplement my Qi Gong and Tai Qi practices, and for that I am also very grateful. As I am considering to pursue a Yoga Teacher Certification, your videos have also given me a deeper insight on what aspects are important to teach yoga students when giving out instructions - this is proven with your teachers such as Rachel S., Fiji M., yourself, Tiane B. and Tracey N. - so many more great teachers (too many to mention), your teachers' careful and detailed instructions with a focus on safety and injury prevention is stellar - better than what I have experienced in the past, and your outdoor setting is so beautifully filmed. Again, much appreciation for your efforts and sending good, healthy Qi your way! Respectfully,
Having practiced yoga since my school days, this site is just so blissful and truly one of the better things in life that are free. I love the little nuances explained during the asanas that make it feel as if I am doing the pose for the first time each time. I can also sense the commitment each of the teachers on your website has towards yoga and that trickles down to each of us viewing it as well. I have recommended this site to any person who is struggling with life's daily challenges. I would personally like to thank each of the wonderful teachers on your website - it's amazing and heartening to know how people sitting in some other part of the world can truly make a difference in the lives of other people. More power to each of us:-). Gratefully,
Thank you so much for creating this website. I have done three or four classes now and all have been perfect. I have just trained to be a yoga instructor myself and am extremely nervous about when it comes to delivering my first class so it is so helpful to be able to learn from an abundance of experienced and talented professionals online as it is more time effective for me and helps me get more from my own practice. I really can't thank you enough. I am only just starting out as a self-employed instructor so have little money at the moment but as soon as I do I will definitely donate to help this fantastic website going. It is a blessing.
Until about 1 year ago, I’d never done any yoga at all. However, I travel a lot for work (currently in a hotel room in Poland, going to Italy tomorrow and then back home to the UK). This makes it really difficult for me to get to regular classes, and any exercise I have to do has to fit into tiny hotel rooms! I was browsing the internet looking for ideas and thought of yoga, and was thinking of buying some DVDs, but I didn’t want to spend what seemed quite a lot of money on something that I had no idea if I would even enjoy it! I figured there was bound to be something on youtube, and along the way I came across your website. Since then I have used it regularly – there are some weeks when my schedule is too crazy for even a video workout (that’s why I’m loving Rachel’s new 15 minute after work revitalizer – I can fit that one in even when I land at midnight!), and I loved that in my super busy weeks I wasn’t paying for something that I wasn’t using. But likewise, on the weeks where I could fit in a practice every day I didn’t need to pay extra. I know that I love the website now, and am really happy to support it. Especially knowing that it might help someone else like me who wants to try it or genuinely can’t afford to go to classes or subscribe. I really appreciate the work that you’ve done to make yoga free and accessible, without it, I may not have carried on with Yoga at all! Best Regards
I've long struggled with trying to find something that makes sense for my mind and body. Trying to find the harmony between the two has been a challenge that still, at 28, I would say I daily strive for. DYWM is making it easier. This past winter was incredibly challenging and the Lightness of Being meditation helped me to find sleep again. I ventured into the world of Pilates nearly 10 years ago, but couldn't find the right fit for me, so it was only a mild flirtation instead of a love affair. However upon doing Kim Wilson's videos, with her warm presence, gentle explanations and humour, I WANT to keep at it. I feel BETTER for doing it, instead of discourage and am starting to celebrate what I can do instead of punishing my body for what I cant. And now I find myself branching into the world of yoga as well. I'm starting to find my voice and confidence and the care you provide has aided in that. I'm so grateful for what you give, for you. Thank you for being a source of inspiration, to not give up on myself as I have tiptoed into doing yet again. Namaste, DYWM
In Judaism, there is a concept called "hakarat ha'tov" - acknowledging the good someone does for you. I want to say thank you for this website, the amazing, wide-ranging and varied classes, and the resources you have made available. I had access to fabulous yoga classes and teachers for many years, but I recently moved to an area where there are fewer yoga options. I take classes from a very talented teacher, but the classes are not dynamic and intensive enough for what I need (upper back/shoulder problems). Your website will provide me with the extra yoga I need and so, so much more. So, thank you. I will be pleased to make a donation to support you, since you are doing so much more for me. Kind regards,
My name is Tanya and I came across DoYogaWithMe about a year ago, but I just found out about the programs. I completed the intermediate to advanced program and it was extremely beneficial, I've gained strength, flexibility and balance and tried poses (and accomplished) that I've never tried before. The most difficult classes for me were the restorative ones because it was very hard to tune my mind. I want to thank you for doing this. It is a great program! Looking forward for more programs like this one! Thank you! Namaste!
I would just like to say a huge thank you for this website. I'm an English and Yoga teacher in South Korea, and struggle finding led classes in English. Everyday for about 2 years, it has just been my self practice. However, my boyfriend introduced me to your website and what a revelation! I'm on week four of the intermediate to advanced program and loving it! I've never been into following YouTube videos or other online resources, but your classes are excellent. Fiji's classes fill me with so much confidence to try new flows and challenge myself mentally and physically. So, I just wanted to say thanks, and that I have shared your website with my students to support their own self practice.
I want to send my sincerest gratitude for the existence of this website. I am dealing with an insane amount of back problems - not as bad as others I'm sure, but it is still a struggle. I used to be way more active, engaging in hardcore exercise. When I got hurt, I turned to yoga and I found that it helped me/my back immensely. However, I found that taking classes was too much pressure on the bank account, so I stopped practicing. I cannot believe that with the growing presence of technology I did not think to look up videos on the web. Today, I went searching (thinking to myself, why didn't I think of this before!!) and here you are DoYogaWithMe.com. So brilliant, so incredibly amazing! I'm inspired and I am ecstatic that I can continue to practice and continue to heal my back without the need to take out a bank loan for some classes. So, thank you! Thank you to all of you created and contributed to this website. Congratulations on a brilliant idea! Thank you for making yoga accessible, steering it away from being an elitist activity. A sincere and an immense thank you! I am so excited to try everything! Sending you infinite positive vibes!
Thank you, David, for these wonderful classes that you and other teachers have beautifully strung together. I love your classes and feel so healed after doing them - especially the hip/hamstring class and your restoring balance class. I have been having back pain since giving birth to my daughter who is 2 year old now and these classes help me very much. I also love classes from Melissa, Kim and Fiji. Thank you and your team again,
Hello, David! I just wanted to drop a line to thank you so much for doing all of this. Right now I'm a phD candidate in Boulder, CO, and though it's very much a "yoga town," I don't yet have the flexibility of income to support my burgeoning yoga habit. I've practiced on and off for about 10 years (...and I just realized I'm getting old...), but your website has really helped me to develop a home practice when I can't make it to a physical class. So, thanks to you and all the amazing instructors! Once I get a little more settled, I have a wish list of audio classes to download, but until then, I'll continue to click on ads that interest me, in the hope you get some revenue from it. Again, thank you so much! Your website changes lives!
