I was confused regarding the breathing instruction in the beginning. Are you supposed to inhale and hold the breath? The sitting sequence didn't work for me more advanced than I anticipated.

I am sorry that the breath work was confusing for you. This was not a breath retention exercise, you were meant to be breathing continually as you worked on creating core stability while lengthening the spine. Often these new concepts take some time to sink in, don't give up.
