Plus Size Yoga: Exploring Warrior
This class is an exploration of Warrior 1, 2 and 3 - all the warriors! - designed for folks who are working within a bigger body. Although it isn't strictly neccesary for the class, a bolster can sometimes help you find ease in various seated or lying postures. I come back to this class regularly because it is a thorough and lovely flow class that contains all of the warrior poses, along with lovely stretches!
Helen - this was so lovely! I am a relatively new teacher and while I do not have a bigger body, several of my students have more body to move in class. I was searching for ideas to offer them modifications and your practices are beautiful models for me to emulate! Not only have you shown me some practical physical/asana modifications, your easy, low key approach is a great reminder to me that I don't need to be in a hurry in leading a class. Your classes are even more beneficial to me than I could have hoped - thank you!
